Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Serves as department head for all financial planning functions.
• Develop and implement financial governance, credit policies, financial analysis tools to effectively manage down risks and financial exposure to the company.
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing and auditing procedure. Reinforce control mechanisms and eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy through the continuous review of authority levels and processes.
• Continuously bench-marking the financial performance of company to industry standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities including international accounting standards.
• Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledgers, account maintenance and data entry.
• Formulates short-term and long-term budget planning of revenues, expenditures and fund balances.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :
• Accounting: 5 years experience
• Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Awareness of business trends
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant.
