Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Manage all functions of the Food Production and Stewarding operations to achieve the optimum departmental profit.
• Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage with regards to the annual budget plan preparation and implementation.
• Participate in the creation and successful implementation of the hotel’s revenue plan and marketing programs.
• Responsible for departmental Profit & Loss management.
• Train, guide and mentor team members, ensuring a highly engaged working environment at all times.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
• Gastronomic education certificate or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar management role, preferably in the luxury hospitality environment.
• International experience is preferred
• Banqueting experience is preferred
• English – excellent oral and written skills
• Outstanding knowledge of food safety regulations
• Passionate for Food & Beverage
• Ability to effectively manage a team
• Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients / vendors
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Be knowledgeable of sales, marketing & promotional practices
• Ability to operate computer and office equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
